DESCRIPTION:The 2023 Annual Photography Exhibition, which is part of the Lewisburg Celebration of the Arts will run from April 29 through May 12, 2023, in the Community Partnerships Office, 328 Market St, Lewisburg, PA, 17837. A reception and awards presentation will be held on Saturday, May 6 from 2-4pm. \nLocal photographers of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate. Age Groups: Adult: 18 and older, Young Adults: 13 – 17, and Children: 12 and younger. The Adult age group will be further divided into the following categories: Macro, Black & White, Artistic, Traditional, and Lifestyle. Each photographer may submit up to three (3) photographs. \nDeadline to enter photographs is Friday, April 21, 2023\nClick here to read the exhibition guidelines and submit your entries. ( https://lewisburgartscouncil.com/photography-exhibit-registration/ )\nDescription of adult categories:\n\nBlack and White: Represents subjects in varying shades of neutral gray, but includes no other colors.\nMacro: Showcasing a subject larger than it is in real life.\nArtistic: Photography in which the vision of an artist behind the camera is presented rather than the objective reality of whatever subject the camera is pointed at.\nLifestyle: Photographs that tell the story of people’s lives.\nTraditional: Any photograph that shows the photographers understanding of the basic elements of photography including line, shape, form, texture, color, size, and depth. Examples of subject matter include, but are not limited to landscapes, architecture, and wildlife.\n\nThis is an opportunity for local photographers of all ages to show what they can do without being juried and see what other local photographers are doing.\nWe look forward to your participation.
