SUMMARY:Plein Air Workshop with Kelly Charlesworth
DESCRIPTION:Does spending time in nature get your creative sap flowing?  If so, plein air painting – painting in the open air – might be right for you!  Join award-winning Central Pennsylvania artist Kelly Charlesworth as she shares her process, supplies, and method of painting with oils en plein air.\nThe workshop/demonstration kicks off the 9th annual Plein Air Event, which is sponsored by the Lewisburg Arts Council, the Linn Conservancy, and the Union County Historical Society.  It will be held — rain or shine — from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 30, at the Dale-Engle-Walker property, located at 1471 Strawbridge Rd, Lewisburg, PA 17837.\nThe workshop is free and open to the public, but registration is required ( https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdYVeF-hO3MEVMPvWmBU20aa2mcaCw42u1SkhT90UvyH0JqXg/viewform ). All ages are welcome, but children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent. Please bring your own supplies. We will email a list of suggested supplies when you register.\nWorkshop attendees are welcome to spend the rest of the day painting, drawing, and sketching on the property.  Participants will be invited to participate in the Plein Air Show held at the Public Library for Union County in June.\nAny medium is welcome. Participants can feel free to bring the supplies that they wish to.
