DESCRIPTION:Join us in September as our meeting topic turns to Landscapes! We’ll cover the fundamentals that make landscape shots stand out — composition techniques like leading lines and the rule of thirds, how to work with natural light throughout the day (including the golden hour), depth of field considerations for keeping scenes sharp from foreground to background, and tips for capturing everything from sweeping vistas to smaller, more intimate natural scenes. Whether you shoot with a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or smartphone, you’ll have plenty to take away and apply on your next outing.\nPhoto Challenge:\nThis month’s photo challenge: try out one of the camera modes we covered in August’s meeting — whether that’s a shooting mode on your DSLR or a mode on your cell phone camera, just pick one that’s new to you.\nSubmit your photo to photoclub@lewisburgartscouncil.com ( mailto:photoclub@lewisburgartscouncil.com ) at least 2 days before the meeting.
