Capturing Movement: Photo Club Visit to Drop, Ripple, Wave

We’re excited to share a special opportunity with the photography club in partnership with the Samek Art Museum.

Join us on Saturday, May 9 at 2:00 PM for a visit to ‘Drop, Ripple, Wave’, a downtown exhibition featuring prints and photographs from the museum’s permanent collection that explore the fluidity and movement of water in two-dimensional imagery.

We will meet at 2:00 PM at the Samek Art Museum – 416 Market Street Lewisburg, PA 17837.

We’ll begin with a brief introduction to the exhibition, including insights into its curation and development. From there, we’ll take time to explore the work more deeply—focusing on composition, texture, and movement, and how artists capture flowing or shifting water in compelling ways.

This is a great opportunity to study the work, spark new ideas, and bring fresh inspiration into your own photography.
