Volunteer Opportunities
Help us make the 2025 Celebration of the Arts even better by volunteering your time!
While many of our vendors are local, we are delighted to welcome vendors from nearby states. Our Festival is juried by a panel of artists to ensure the highest quality and broadest appeal. Our jurors score each applicant anonymously based on quality of craft, artistic merit, artistic theme, innovation, and presentation. This system keeps the Festival interesting, innovative, and fresh.
In addition to our artists, we have food and beverage vendors, FREE petting zoo, balloon art, hands-on activities from local nonprofits, and musical and dance performances.
Vendor applications will open November 2025
Beware of scammers. Only submit application and booth fees to the Lewisburg Arts Council through our website application (if mailing payment be sure to follow the instructions on the website form). All official event communications will be through lewisburgartscouncil.com email addresses. Do not send payment to any individual claiming to be associated with the Festival.

Meet the Artist:
I am a photographer who enjoys creating images of my environment, both natural and man-made. While I strive to have images representing many genres, most of my work is landscape and wildlife. Traveling to a remote location allows me to capture landscapes that are both relaxing and revealing. The same can be said for my wildlife images. Displaying animals or insects in their natural environment enables me to show what many often do not see. The creation of these images requires more than timing and location. There are additional challenges that I consider for my images.
Those challenges in creating compelling images are the aspects of the light, composition, position, and an interesting subject. By controlling these aspects early in the creation of the image, I can minimize the editing to keep my images truer to the environment in which they were created. The combination of these aspects gives the viewer a sense of being there, among the action, from a position of observation that wouldn’t normally be experienced.
Using the aspects of light, composition, and position has given my images the ability to capture details not easily seen around fleeting moments. Often, these are the images that make viewers question how the image was captured. As the photographer, I take joy in knowing that the viewer would spend the time to consider how the image was created.
