Embroidery 101

Learn the basics of embroidery! We’ll discuss thread choices and thicknesses, as well as needle options. Then we’ll focus on learning the following foundational stitches: stem, satin, chain, back and split stitches, woven roses and french knots. Supplies are included and you’ll be learning on a pattern that Terri has designed exclusively for this class.

Meet Your Instructor:
Terri Peterson likes to play with thread. She’s been embroidering for several years advancing into kit design, thread painting, and teaching. She also crochets doilies and is slowly learning how to tat lace.

• When: Saturday, July 12 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• Where: The Gallery, 15 N Water St, Lewisburg, PA
• Cost: Free, but registration is required. Maximum of 12 participants.
• Age: 16+ (Teens and adults are welcome).
• How to register: Sign up using the form below. Once registration is full, you will have the option to sign for the waitlist. Each participant must register separately using a unique email address.
• Do I need to bring anything to the workshop? No, all materials will be provided to you.
