Featured Artist Exhibition

From April 14 through May 13, Jane Albin’s work will be displayed at The Open Door Gallery by Lori (430 Market Street), with an Opening Reception from 4 to 6 pm on Friday, April 14.  The public is invited to join in celebrating Albin’s work and her contributions to our local arts community!

The two paintings chosen to represent this year’s Celebration of the Arts theme, “Spring Beauty”, and are being used to promote the two-week Celebration.  Her work will appear on posters, social media, even on Festival t-shirts and tote bags!

When asked what being named as Featured Artist means to her, Albin replied, “I am honored to have been selected from the many amazing local artists. Being chosen as the Featured Artist makes me feel good and proud and validated. This honor makes me feel more motivated to keep learning and doing my art.  I am thankful to all my teachers who inspired me and taught me how to improve my art.  I am thankful for my students who forced me to learn new techniques to keep them improving and inspired.  Thank you.”
