Music in the Park: Penn Central Wind Band

The Penn Central Wind Band is an all-volunteer concert band sponsored by Bucknell University, based in Lewisburg, PA. Founded in 1994, the band has grown into one of the region’s premier community ensembles and is the proud recipient of the prestigious Sudler Silver Scroll from the John Philip Sousa Foundation — a national honor recognizing outstanding community bands. With a roster of musicians holding music degrees from top universities and a wide-ranging repertoire from marches and overtures to contemporary pops, the Penn Central Wind Band delivers a polished and crowd-pleasing performance every time.
