Photo Club – ‘Photography As Art’

First, a reminder about this month’s photo challenge — and it couldn’t be simpler: grab your cell phone and snap a shot! There are no rules about subject matter, so let your creativity run wild. At the end of the meeting, you’ll have the chance to share your photo with the group and tell us a little about it — the story behind it, what caught your eye, or whatever inspired you to take it.

Photos can be emailed to photoclub@lewisburgartscouncil.com and should arrive at least 2 days before the meeting so we’re all set for sharing time.

The main presentation for April will focus on Composition — one of the most powerful tools in a photographer’s toolkit. We’ll explore why composition matters, walk through some key compositional rules, and look at real examples that bring those rules to life. Whether you’re brand new to the concept or looking for a refresher, there’s something here for everyone.
