Where Will You Be? How I’m Preparing for the Great American Solar Eclipse, 2024

Join Bob Haefner, local amateur photographer, as he details how he’s preparing for the upcoming solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. In this presentation, he will describe what a solar eclipse is, what you will see, where you can see it, and what goes into preparing to photograph it. Some specific areas covered will be proper eye and camera protection, specific photographs that can be taken, and the equipment necessary for those photographs. Anyone wishing to get an idea of what it takes to photograph this natural phenomenon is encouraged to attend.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Presentation begins at 7pm.
