Urban Sketching Workshop with Jane Albin

This popular, portable art involves sketching from life on location using minimal supplies. Join Jane Albin, our 2023 Celebration of the Arts Featured Artist, on a two-hour Urban Sketching demo, mini sketch-crawl and critique on Sunday, May 7, from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon starting at the Mifflinburg Bank & Trust parking lot at the corner of North 5th and Market Streets, Lewisburg, PA.

Following Jane’s demo from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m., you’ll have an hour to sketch on your own, then a half hour of sharing and critique. Please bring a sketchbook and your favorite sketching supplies. (Not sure what to bring? We will email a list of suggested supplies when you register.)

This free workshop is limited to 20 participants ages 12 and older and will take place rain or shine. Registration required. Workshop participants will be invited to participate in the Plein Air Show held at the Public Library for Union County in June.
