Photography Exhibition Registration 2023 Photography Exhibition Guidelines Eligibility All ages and skill levels of photographers are welcome. The photographer must be the sole creator of the photograph (with no direct supervision from an instructor). Photographers must live within a 30-mile radius of Lewisburg. Requirements Largest size: Photos may be at most 11x14 matted/mounted—portrait, landscape, or square. All entries should be mounted and/or matted. Do not frame. Photos must have a sturdy hanger on the back but no wires. Click here for information on matting photos. Number: Each photographer may enter up to three (3) photographs. The original photograph must have been taken within the past two (2) years and not previously entered in this photography exhibit. White or black mats only. Levels Age Groups: Adult: 18 and older, Young Adults: 13 – 17, and Children: 12 and younger. Categories for the Adult Age Group Only: Macro, Black & White, Artistic, Traditional, and Lifestyle. Registration, Delivery, and Pick-up Adults: $10 non-refundable entry fee for up to two (2) photographs. $5 for the third (3) photograph. Children under age 18: $5 for each submitted photograph up to (3) photographs. Works must be hand-delivered to the Community Partnerships Office, 328 Market St, Lewisburg, PA, 17837, on Saturday, April 22, between 1 pm. and 4 pm., or April 24 - 26, from 9 am to 5 pm. Please download and print the registration form and labels and fix label/s to the back of your work prior to dropping them off. Pick up photographs from the Community Partnerships Office, 328 Market St, Lewisburg, PA, 17837, on Monday, May 15, between 1 pm and 4 pm. All photographs MUST be removed within these time frames. The Lewisburg Arts Council will not assume responsibility for any works not picked up. Judging and Awards A panel of prominent local photographers will judge photographs. The Lewisburg Arts Council reserves the right to reject entries that are deemed inappropriate for the Exhibit. Best of Show, 1st and 2nd place in Specialty Awards will be drawn from all photographs in the exhibit. These will be cash prizes. Ribbons will be awarded to Judges’ Choice, Peoples’ Choice, and 2nd 3rd place in Specialty. Opening Reception and Exhibit Dates and Times Reception: Saturday, May 06, 2 pm to 4:00 pm., the Community Partnerships Office. Awards will be presented at the reception.
